Iveco S.p.A., acronym for Industrial Vehicles Corporation (literally Company for the production of industrial vehicles), is an Italian company, part of the Iveco Group, specialized in the production of commercial vehicles.
It designs and manufactures light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles, quarry / construction site vehicles, city and intercity buses and special vehicles for applications such as firefighting, off-road missions, defense and civil protection.
The name was born in 1975 from the merger of Italian, French and German brands. It has production facilities in Europe, China, Russia, Australia, Africa, Argentina and Brazil and is present in over 160 countries, with approximately 5,000 sales and service points. World production is around 150,000 commercial vehicles per year with a turnover of around 10 billion euros.
