Scania R - Blue Shark

A new link is added to the prestigious chain of limited editions launched by Scania in Italy (TOP CLASS in 2002, THE KING in 2003 and THE GRIFFIN in 2006) and created in collaboration with "Svempa", the famous Swedish bodybuilder Sven Erik "Svempa" Bergendahl. The top of the range, namely the R 620 LA 4x2 MNA Euro 5 road tractor, the dream of many drivers and transport operators, is equipped with the most exclusive technical features and further embellished with an exclusive series of accessories and special finishes; here in a nutshell Blue Shark, available from April, in 40 units, exclusively for the Italian market. Among the most characteristic features we find the CR19 TOPLINE Platinum version cab, ESP, hill-hold system, xenon headlights on bumpers and sun visors, complete metallic blue cab paintwork and glossy black finishes, exclusive exterior cab decorations and side skirts, leather-covered dashboard and steering wheel, 20" TV/DVD and much more. Technical features: - 620 HP Euro 5 engine - DC - 8 V-cylinder - Direct injection diesel, with turbocharger, intercooler, EMS, pumping injectors (UI) and SCR system (selective catalytic reduction of exhaust gases) - Displacement 15.6 dm3. Max power 456 kW at 1,900 rpm - Max torque 3,000 Nm (306 kgm) at 1,100 - 1,4000 rpm - Euro 5 The top power engine is part of the Scania V8 engine family that has made the Scania brand famous in the world. It currently also includes the 500 and 560 HP engines, all available in the Euro 5 version, which use the most advanced Scania SCR (selective catalytic reduction) technology that allows compliance with emission limits. The SCR system, with the addition of urea, ensures control of exhaust emissions and at the same time, thanks to the high combustion temperature, is able to reduce consumption. This technique has proven effective with engines operating in certain conditions: long-distance transport, maximum load and constant cruising speed for extended travel times, routes with steep gradients.
