Arcese
The company was founded in 1966 by Eleuterio Arcese in Riva del Garda. Initially a sole proprietorship of road haulage for third parties, in 1981 the company opened up to internationalization with the introduction of intermodal transport, thus integrating road and rail transport.
The acquisition in 1990 of Ventana Cargo (since 2006 renamed Ventana Serra), a company specialized in sea and air transport, allowed Arcese to extend its activities worldwide. A few years later, in 1997, Eleuterio Arcese was awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Milan Chamber of Commerce.
Since 2009, the Arcese Group has dedicated itself, through the SEL brand, to the logistics of events, especially sports events.
Today Arcese is made up of three business divisions: Road Freight for road and intermodal transport, Air & Sea Freight for sea and air shipments and Contract Logistics for logistics outsourcing services.
