SHS Austria Air Rescue
In 1992 the company Schider Helicopter Service, abbreviated SHS, was founded.
In 1995 the management decided to renovate the SHS and slowly began to withdraw from transport aviation to gain a foothold in air rescue.
SHS's first year-round emergency medical helicopter began its service. Heli 1 hour flew from Waidring and also Heli 2 during the winter season with its intense tourism.
Heli 3 began its service on August 14, 2000 and has established itself in a very short time and has been very positively received by the population and by all organizations.
After the failure of negotiations with an Austrian air rescue association and under pressure from another supplier, the decision was made to expand the company and negotiations with the Schwaz Red Cross began.
The helicopters with the nicknames "Heli 1 to 4" and "Alpin Heli 6" are ready for use every day from early morning until sunset.
